Set 1: WH Question Worksheets

The first set includes 11 worksheets and 7 charts.

The worksheets focus on who, what, where, which, and when questions using simple cut-and-paste activities.

For example, a question is shown at the top of the worksheet, while possible answers are given below. Children read the question, find the correct answer, cut it out, and paste it in the correct place.

The 2nd set also includes 6 mixed practice worksheets. Some activities use short reading passages or simple situations followed by questions.

For example:

The baby is playing with blocks on the mat.

Children answer three questions based on the sentence.

Other activities give children a direct question with three answer choices. They read the question and choose the correct answer.

Children choose the correct answer from the three options.

Set 2: Build Sentences with Who, What, and Where

Once children are comfortable answering questions, they can move on to sentence-building activities.

The second set includes 6 cut-and-paste worksheets.

Each worksheet gives children who, what, and where clues with pictures. Six pictures are provided, and children use them to make two meaningful sentences.

The labels at the top show Who, What, and Where. Children cut out the pictures and paste them into the correct boxes to build a sentence using three pictures. They then use the remaining three pictures to make another sentence.

This activity helps children move from simply answering questions to building complete sentences.
