Counting 0–20 Worksheets | Extend Learning Beyond Our 0–10 Base Pack
Our Counting 2 Bundle helped children build a strong foundation in number recognition and counting through simple and consistent activities.
Now, we have expanded the activities up to 20!
This New Pack Includes 10 Printable Worksheets Covering:
- Counting 0–5, 5–10, 10–15, and 15–20
- Cutting and pasting the correct number to match each quantity
- Matching quantities with numbers
- Counting and writing numbers from 0 to 20
Why Continue from 10 to 20?
After children become comfortable counting to 10, they are ready to explore larger numbers.
Keeping the same worksheet pattern helps children feel confident because they already understand how the activities work. This allows them to focus on learning new numbers instead of learning new instructions.
From Rote Counting to Meaningful Counting
Many children can recite:
"1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6..."
Knowing and reciting the sequence of number names is called rote counting.
These worksheets help children move toward meaningful (rational) counting, where they understand that:
- Each object is matched with one number.
- Numbers represent real quantities.
- The last number counted tells how many objects there are altogether.
Benefits of Counting to 20
- Builds strong number sense
- Improves number recognition from 0 to 20
- Develops one-to-one correspondence
- Prepares children for addition and subtraction
- Builds confidence and encourages independent learning
- Improves fine motor skills through cutting and pasting
Our Counting 3 Pack is perfect for kindergarten, homeschooling, and extra practice at home.
Practice, count, cut, paste, and learn—all the way to 20!
